I put on some gloves and still managed to get some on my face. It burned like hell. After thoroughly washing my dog with this and rinsing her off with cold water, it looked like she was really clean. However, at night my dog began barking, wanting to go outside. I had to get up like 10 times during the night, so I thought my dog was bugging me for no reaon. Suffice to say, I touched her and her coat was on fire.It seemed like she had a fever, that's how warm she was.I would definitely not use this product. Sure it might kill fleas, but at what expense to your dogs health?

Repel II Dog & Cat Repellent, Granules, 2 lbs Review

urinating and defecating in my newly planted garden.
They have been peeing on several plants, and the poor plants are dying, slowly but surely.
I was desperate, to get something, while waiting for our sensor sprinkler,
so, I took the advice of the PetSmart salesgirl, and bought Repel, in granule form, which came in
a large milk carton type box.Repel II Dog & Cat Repellent, Granules, 2 lbs
15 dollars down the drain, almost INSTANTLY.
What a WASTE of time and money!
My advice: DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT.
I followed directions, and sprinkled it all around the perimeter, and inside, my garden.
The smell was irritating, too, and it gave me a headache, but, anyways...
The Repel granules were scattered nicely over the garden, and concentrated around specific
plants.
A little while later, a cat steps over the granules, and walks through my garden.
Later on in the night, I hear cats growling and hissing, in the garden.
So, no, cats are NOT repelled by this. Don't waste your time and money, like I did.
I'm looking forward, a lot more, now, due to this disappointment, to setting up a
sensor sprinkler, which has rave reviews. Contech Electronics CRO101 Scarecrow Motion-Activated Sprinkler
PLUS, I didn't know this, but,rain was forecasted, and this morning, I saw the rain had
ruined the "effectiveness" (if there was any) of the Repel granules.
15 dollars down the drain, almost INSTANTLY.
What a WASTE of time and money!
My advice: DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT.

Plenty of bright lights, one white and one actinic, and the additional LED "moon lighting" is something that I would have a hard time living without now that I've seen how beautiful it can be shinning on coral during the wee hours of the nighttime. For reference, i'm using the fixture over a 70 gallon, corner, salt water aquarium. However, the fan noise once the unit warms up is too loud for my comfort level in a living room environment. I googled fan noise and this model and found I was not alone with this concern. Thought about returning the unit but will see if I can get used to the background noise. The fan noise can best be described as like a low level jet engine sound. The only other concern is that the mounting legs are a little awkward to install. Better illustrations in the assembly manual would be a suggestion to the manufacturer. It was easy once "I got it." All bulbs were included.

Its fine now after a month though. I bought it because of the lower reports of it irritating the dog. Had an Adam's brand last year that I will go back too. Not too much worry about fleas here in cold Michigan, so just a precaution.

(More customer reviews)We have an 80 pound lab who LOVES to pull. From the second you get her on the leash she is pulling so hard that she chokes herself and can't breathe. We actually have to stop for a few seconds when we're walking her to make sure she doesn't suffocate herself. So obviously, I was starting to worry about the condition of her windpipe. Besides that, when we go for walks she pulls me along like a waterskiier behind a boat... and I'm a big girl! It's embarassing. So we decided to try this item and, holy cow, it works. She still tries to pull, but one quick tug on the harness and she backs down. Finally... we're in control, not the dog! Now if we could only get her to come when we call her, we'd be all set.
Oh and regarding sizing... I was worried because everyone talks like these things are so small. I was sure an XXL would be too small for her but, on the contrary, it's loose on her. I imagine you could get any big dog (German Shepard size or smaller) into this one.

(More customer reviews)Would I buy this coffee maker for the full price of the new model? Probably not. But the reconditioned one is a great value.
It looks great, as is apparent from the photo. Keep in mind, though, that as a reconditioned unit, it may have some minor blemishes to its appearance. Mine, for example, has a very small dent in the stainless steel on its left side. It's not noticable unless you're looking for it, and that alone wouldn't keep me from recommending this coffee maker. (Also, as previous reviewers have noted, this model does NOT come with a permanent filter like the new model does.)
What's a little iffier about it, though, are a couple strange design issues that affect usability.
Every coffee maker I've ever owned has had a flip-top carafe--but not this one. You have to physically remove the lid to pour water into the carafe--a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
You need the carafe to measure water, because there's no water-level indicator on the coffee maker itself. Additionally, the water filter takes up a lot of the space under the lid, meaning that there's a relatively small space to pour the water into from the carafe. It's enough room that someone without any mobility problems shouldn't have any issues getting the water in, but it takes a little getting used to.
Overall, I'd recommend the reconditioned model of the Brew Central. It's not so great that I'd replace it with another one of the same model if it became unusable, but good enough that I'm glad to have it on the counter.
